K&N has an opening for a full-time sr. social media coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all social media activities including, but not limited to, writing editorial calendars, posting to all channels, content generation and curation, sourcing and editing photography and video assets, campaign development, community outreach, paid social advertising, promotions, performance analysis, ongoing moderation and optimization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage strategy and posting calendar for multiple forms of social media
Define, track, and report social media KPIs across campaigns and individual posts
Create engaging text, images, and video content to engage with fans
Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative, appealing, and maintains the brand image
Communicate with legal to ensure all messaging is accurate and meets corporate legal guidelines
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams on key initiatives that will involve social media marketing support
Create posts to publicize and create buzz around new products
Communicate with industry professionals, influencers, and partners via social media to create a strong social community
Manages a budget for boosted posts including amount, duration, and strategic targeting
Research audience preferences and stay current on social media trends
Facilitate online conversations with consumers and respond to questions, concerns, and requests from followers
Oversee social media accounts’ layouts, page structures, header graphics, and login credentials
Create, implement, track, and report promotions, giveaways, and contests through various social media channels
As appropriate, attends brand events for social media event activation and live content
Experience, Skills & Education:
A minimum of an undergraduate degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and other popular social media platforms including current best practices and emerging trends
Experience working with both large and small outside influencers and partners to incorporate outside content into and internal brand content strategy.
In-depth knowledge of social media KPIs including SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
Excellent multitasking, time management, punctuality, and problem-solving skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills as a part of a larger team
Experience with Photoshop, photo manipulation, graphic layouts, and basic video editing
