JOB DESCRIPTION

Identify prospects to solicit for business.  Identify existing customers to solicit for additional business.  It is expected this position is out of the office a MINIMUM of 50% of work hours meeting customers/prospects.

Plan and execute sales presentations both over the phone and in person.  Use sales skills and product knowledge to guide customers into the correct product.

When in the office, answer phones to assist customers with product questions and order processing.  At all times, demonstrate professional and pleasant phone skills with the goal of excellent customer satisfaction.

Operate with efficiency the company’s ERP for ordering, inventory look-up, reports, and order tracking.  Partner with other sales team in other company locations to service customer requests.

Assist accounts receivable, when required, to set-up initial credit applications, discussion of credit terms and modifications to credit terms based on evolving customer relationships.

Travel and represent the company at sponsorship events and trade shows in and around Texas.  Events occur over weekends and its estimated less than six events per year.

Use experience, customer recommendations, social media, and personal creativity to grow company brand.
