 We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence across our production facility. 
 Position Summary 
 This is a full-time, on-site leadership position based in Dayton, Ohio. Reporting directly to the President, Lacks Forgeline, LLC, the Plant Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility. This position oversees CNC machining, grinding, powder coating, assembly, quality, maintenance, and shipping/receiving functions while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement throughout the operation. 
 The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with strong technical knowledge of CNC machining and precision manufacturing who can effectively lead teams, improve processes, and maintain the exceptional quality standards that define the Forgeline brand. 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
 Operations Leadership 
 
 Lead all plant operations including CNC machining, grinding, powder coating, assembly, quality, maintenance, and shipping/receiving. 
 Execute production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments. 
 Update and manage production schedules daily. 
 Ensure optimal utilization of equipment, tooling, fixtures, materials, and labor resources. 
 Monitor key performance indicators and implement actions to improve productivity and efficiency. 
 Coordinate new product introductions, wheel programs, and custom orders with engineering and sales teams. 
 
 &#xa0; Safety and Compliance 
 
 Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant facility. 
 Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety requirements. 
 Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational discipline. 
 Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organization. 
 
 &#xa0; Quality Management 
 
 Maintain strict quality standards for cosmetic and dimensional requirements of premium forged wheels. 
 Oversee inspection processes including CMM, SPC, visual inspections, runout testing, balance verification, and finish quality evaluations. 
 Ensure compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements. 
 Lead corrective actions, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
 
 &#xa0; Equipment and Maintenance 
 
 Ensure preventative maintenance programs are executed and maintained for CNC equipment, powder coating systems, and facility support equipment. 
 Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance planning and equipment reliability initiatives. 
 Support capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades as needed. 
 
 &#xa0; Continuous Improvement 
 
 Improve throughput, reduce scrap, and increase overall operational efficiency. 
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and cost reduction. 
 Implement best practices and process improvements throughout the facility. 
 
 &#xa0; Leadership and Team Development 
 
 Provide strong leadership and hands-on shop-floor presence. 
 Foster a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement. 
 Communicate effectively across departments to align priorities and achieve business objectives. 
 Manage staffing levels based on production requirements. 
 Interview, hire, train, and develop team members. 
 Administer attendance and performance management programs. 
 Conduct performance reviews and address performance concerns when necessary. 
 Preferred Education and Experience 
 
 Bachelor&#39;s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred. 
 Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in CNC manufacturing, precision machining, or a similar manufacturing environment. 
 Demonstrated success leading production teams and manufacturing operations. 
 Experience in wheel manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, motorsports, or premium consumer products is preferred.

 Strong understanding of CNC machining, fixturing, tooling, and workflow optimization.

The ideal candidate takes pride in building performance-grade drivetrain products that meet or exceed OEM tolerances. 
 &#xa0; 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
 &#xa0; 
 Assemble clutch-style and helical-type positraction/limited slip differential carriers from component parts, including bevel gears, spider gear sets, side gears, pinion gears, clutch packs, springs, cross-pin shafts, roll pins, and thrust washers. 
 Read and interpret assembly work orders, engineering drawings, and build specifications to ensure correct configuration by vehicle application, axle spline count, gear ratio, and carrier series. 
 Install and properly seat Raybestos composite clutch pack assemblies and verify spring preload settings to specification. 
 Machine or inspect internal gears fabricated from forged steel for correct tooth profile, surface finish, and dimensional tolerances. 
 Perform torque-to-turn breakaway testing and backlash verification on completed assemblies to confirm proper clutch pack engagement and lockup characteristics. 
 Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of all components prior to assembly; reject non-conforming parts per quality control procedures. 
 Maintain accurate production records, traveler documents, and serialization logs. 
 Operate hand tools, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. 
 Follow all workplace safety protocols including PPE requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and proper lifting techniques. 
 Keep work area clean and organized; perform routine equipment maintenance as assigned. 
 Collaborate with QC inspectors and engineering staff to resolve assembly issues and implement process improvements. 
 Meet daily production targets while maintaining zero-defect quality standards. Required Qualifications

 Utilize Speedway&#xa0;Quality Assurance (QA)&#xa0;Department inspection process to&#xa0;identify&#xa0;and document any discrepancies. 
 
 
 Ability to learn and&#xa0;utilize&#xa0;Speedway Motor&#8217;s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Product Data Management systems. 
 
 
 Verify raw materials&#xa0;comply with&#xa0;Speedway Engineering Department Standards, including material certifications, and dimensional verification of raw castings/ forgings. 
 
 
 Perform manual measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and various other inspection tools. 
 
 
 Qualify and direct usage of gaging tools by operators. 
 
 
 Prepare, process, and analyze QA Department inspection reports. 
 
 
 Coordinate with Manufacturing or Warehouse Supervisors and operators to ensure compliance with Speedway QA procedures. 
 
 
 Utilize advanced inspection methods such as the CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), the&#xa0;Multisensor&#xa0;Measuring Machine, and 3D Laser Scanners in performance of duties.
