Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to increase our presence in the Automotive Parts Retail Market. This role is responsible for building strong relationships with auto parts retailers, driving sales of our product lines through in-person visits, program negotiations, data analytics, product training, and merchandising support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with auto parts retailers
• Promote and sell a portfolio of automotive products and accessories
• Execute regular in-person and virtual sales calls to educate clients on product features, promotions, and new offerings
• Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed recommendations to retailers.
• Collaborate with all teams including marketing, logistics, and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and support retail execution including merchandising, planogram compliance, and promotions
• Drive sales growth through account development, product training, and retail execution
• Monitor inventory levels, displays, and merchandising compliance
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and report on the performance of our customers and vendors
• Attend trade shows, regional meetings, and product training sessions as needed.
• Travel as required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the retail automotive aftermarket
• Knowledge of automotive parts and retail operations
• Solid understanding of automotive parts and retail sales environments.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong Communications, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as a team managing customer and vendor relationships
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, CRM tools and generally tech savvy

Preferred

• Existing relationships with Advance Auto Parts
• Experience with front room and backroom, hard parts, tools, filters, chemicals, batteries, accessories and performance parts.
