Sales Account Manager      

Energy Suspension, the leader in performance automotive polyurethane suspension and drive train components, is actively seeking a motivated and disciplined In-House Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of the automotive aftermarket distribution channels including; aftermarket manufacturers, powersports, and marine. This person must be detail oriented, an excellent communicator, problem-solver and a strong desire to exceed sales objectives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for managing existing accounts and new business development within the automotive aftermarket private label account channel
• Experienced with selling to aftermarket manufacturers within the automotive, marine, powersports and industrial distribution channels
• Understanding of quoting process, maintain competitive pricing while managing margin.
• The candidate will also support product planning and engineering relative to market opportunities
• Customer engagement at trade shows and events
• Maximization of account sales potential relative to SKU expansion
• Assist the Product manager with new product and part number development

Qualifications and Experience

• Expertise in sales and managing sales cycles
• Experience in new business development
• Automotive enthusiast with knowledge of the aftermarket
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset in developing accounts in a consultative manner
• Ability to influence and negotiate.
• Good financial acumen and budgeting skills
• Strong team player and ability to work with cross-functional teams and colleagues
