JOB DESCRIPTION:
Zeder USA Business Development Manager - Central Zone works with other departments within Zeder USA to develop and implement sales plans and strategies to increase company’s revenue and achieve the predetermined sales goals. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for new business, new customers, and new revenue within but exclusive to OE/PL sales channels. This position requires constant communication with the existing customer base, the cultivation and follow-up with prospects and business opportunities, assistance with technical enquiries and the cultivation and leadership of Zeder USA’s overall business plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and achieve defined revenue and project goals while developing strategic partnerships with ZUSA customers
Create, identify, and execute sales and new product plans to gain deeper penetration into current customer base and gaining customer adoption of new products and manufacturing strategies.
Seek out and develop new customer and business network/relationships to drive revenue growth.
Represent ZUSA’s customers’ interest in across branded & Private Label and OEM customers
Successfully drive revenue growth across multiple sales channels
Identify, evaluate, and report on market and customer opportunities.
Identify, analyze, and report on competitive threats and pricing, customer concerns, and market dynamics.
Manage projects, relationships, and customer expectations.
Assist with development and prioritization of product roadmaps.
Work with Sales Support and Brand Management to provide and coordinate technical training as required for new product launches and existing product support when necessary.
Ensure profit margin, pricing and stock levels are appropriate for the achievement of business goals and objectives.
Work closely with respective functional departments and teams to ensure that customers’ product requirements and delivery lead-times are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience working managing large projects with Private Label and OEM customers
Deep understanding and appreciation for the latest tech and trends in automotive world particularly in suspension categories- experience in 4x4, Off-Road, UTV market a plus.
Developed sustainable strategic business relationships with customers.
Gained adoption of new product ideas and product categories within existing customers
Excellent selling skills and possess high-level presentations, persuading, and negotiating experience.
Strong success identifying, working, and closing business proposals.
Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and competitive threats within a market to decision makers.
Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and driven personality.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or related technical or business discipline.
Ability to travel domestically or possibly internationally if necessary.
