Responsibilities
- Install and remove engines from dyno cell and connect all instrumentation and plumbing
- Test run production and prototype marine diesel and gas engines on dyno for break-in, troubleshooting (electrical and mechanical), and occasional tuning/mapping
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs on engines when required (e.g. oil change, valve lash adjustments, minor part replacement, cylinder head removal, injector changes, electrical harness hook-up, etc.)
- Record engine performance parameters in spreadsheet software
- Maintain dyno system equipment, organize and clean console and test cell
- Approx 4 days of air travel about every other month for engine commissioning
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
- Have basic automotive mechanic hand tools
- Work hours: M-F, 7a-5p

Preferred Experience
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with PowerTest dyno
- Experience with Superflow dyno
- Experience with PowerNet software
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Google suite products
- Proficient with internal combustion engine disassembly, assembly, troubleshooting and theory of operation
- Experience troubleshooting and tuning both diesel and gas engines
- Experience with Bosch and Haltech software and equipment
- Proficient in the use of related precision tools and equipment (torque wrenches, borescopes, calipers)
- Attention to detail for data documentation and troubleshooting
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering/Technical field or equivalent experience.
