Quadratec is actively seeking a highly reliable, detail-oriented, and take-charge Senior PHP Developer to join our team.

Quadratec is currently recruiting and interviewing for a knowledgeable and reliable Senior PHP Developer to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidates will be a key point of contact for all technology related issues and projects. Maintaining our networks and setting users up for success both onsite and remotely. As Senior PHP Developer at Quadratec, you'll write clean, maintainable and performant PHP code and work with our technology team to create integrations between systems. You'll be involved in the entire product lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features. You will help debug and fix code created by other developers. Ultimately, your work will impact the code-base of our systems in a meaningful way.

How you ask?

• Writing PHP as procedural code.
• Writing PHP using frameworks such as Symfony, CodeIgniter.
• Writing PHP for open-source projects such as Magento or Drupal.
• Familiar with using PHP to interact with REST APIs.
• Experience with using PHP for Object Oriented Programming.
• Experience writing MySQL queries.
• Migrate large amounts of data from one system to another
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Very analytical and good at time management.
• Analyze, understand, and update code written by other developers.
• Support teammates overcome blockers by thinking through complex problems.
• Solid understanding of the HTTP request, response cycle.
• Curious about new technologies and you're excited to find ways to implement them in your work.

What You'll Need!

Not everyone can be a Senior PHP Developer. To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:

• Experience: At least 5 years of IT-related experience
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Skills: You must have a high business ethic.

• Knowledge of Magento, Drupal required.
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
• Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
