EGR is looking for a senior accountant that can quickly be groomed to step into the role of financial controller. The ideal candidate will possess: strong communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills; at least three years’ of general and cost accounting experience (using an integrated ERP system) in a manufacturing environment; a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; and hold a CPA license. Initial duties include:

• Analyzing account balances and preparing appropriate journal entries
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Preparing GAAP financial statements and management ad hoc reports, as required
• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
• Assessing monthly income statement/budget variance analyses
• Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
• Supervising clerical staff
• Prepare/submit multiple state sales and use tax returns
• Data mine and create/update complex spreadsheets
• Interface with Company auditors and payroll providers
