Responsible for developing and managing Membership benefits offerings for Association members to further enhance membership package. Develops new products and services offered to membership that will help drive growth and retention of membership.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Be knowledgeable on all Membership benefits and services offered by the association.
Work with Membership staff and stakeholders to ensure the benefit offerings are used as a strategic resource.
Participate in annual and ongoing strategic planning as it relates to membership business development goals.
Help drive new business development through creative membership offerings.
Forges and maintains relationships with key vendors to open doors, make connections and generate revenue and support through new benefit offerings.
Manage and negotiate contracts with benefit vendors.
Coordinate and support programmatic partnerships with initial planning, partnership outlines, budgets, etc.
Work with Membership team to help manage new partnerships, including developing proposals, project outlines, and budgets for prospective partnerships
Responsible for assisting with budget adherence of Membership benefits.
Serve as the liaison and advocate for Benefits offered by the Membership department to members.
Responsible for providing independent decision-making on behalf of the association as related to the key benefit offerings.
Track and analyze utilization of Membership benefits.
Support the Membership and association outreach efforts at events/shows, as needed.
When directed by management, perform other assignments and duties as required.
Reports to the PRI President.
Interfaces with all levels of Association members and staff
PRIMARY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
7+ years’ experience managing Membership benefits in an association environment.
Travel requirements up to 5%.
Be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, benefit management systems, and association management software.
Skilled communicator with strong organizational abilities.
Four-year college degree preferred.
