SUMMARY: The Category/Sales Manager will report to the VP of Sales and will be expected to identify trends, provide insights, and help implement company sales and marketing strategies to support business in the North American aftermarket. This position will have heavy focus on category management, analytics and data intelligence. The primary goal of this position is to provide value to key accounts and program group customers through a combination of brand assortment, merchandising, communication, and promotion. Additional contributions to the company will include assistance with general sales & marketing activities, product pricing, and support of new product introduction both internally and with assigned customers.
This person will also work in collaboration with fellow colleagues including the SVP Operations and the VP of Marketing & Business Development.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales, Sales Administration and Category Management of assigned key accounts
Create and present sales, category management and marketing presentations
Implement marketing plans for new and existing products
Manage all assigned customer external corporate communications
Responsible for assigned customer show coordination and attendance
Support line reviews and assortment analysis for other key accounts
Maintain competitive price shops & point-of-sales analysis across customer peer groups
Support Supply Chain team with demand analysis to ensure high service rates
Work with and support efforts of Cloyes sales, product management, engineering teams
Assist in preparation of annual sales and expense budget
Accomplishments are measured in accordance with the corporately established guidelines of sales, margins, inventory levels, order fill, budgeting, communications, planning and execution, and Gross Margin Return on Investment.
