Reporting to the Finance Manager you will assist with overseeing the functions of the Finance department for two organisations. You have excellent attention to detail, strong data management skills and have the ability to prioritise workload.
You will be splitting your time between two organisations, where you will be responsible for entering financial data into the system, verifying freight costs, processing vendor payments, as well as creating invoices, sending customers their statements, creating reports as required and assisting the Finance Manager with end of month close as well as other adhoc tasks. Your duties will also include, but are not limited to: - Entering financial data into the system
- Updating financial records
- Preparing reports as required
- Scanning and saving documents in the database
- Accounts Payable - Verifying freight costs, entering vendor billing, and processing vendor payments
- Accounts Receivable - Creating invoices, charging customer credit cards, sending customer statements and receiving customer payments
- Following up on overdue accounts / invoices
- Providing support in processing payroll
- Assisting the Finance Manager with administrative tasks and/or other adhoc clerical tasks as required
Your application will have an advantage if: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- You have at least one to two years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with NetSuite (or a similar ERP system)
- Experience in handling responsibilities within a multi-subsidiary company
- You have advanced Excel, data management and Microsoft Word skills
- You are professional and efficient
- Excellent attention to detail
