We are looking for a skilled Assembly Lead to connect automotive parts into specific components. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands and/or machines to do the job. You must have good technical knowledge and possess the skills to coordinate task for the day via our WMS. There are a number of staff that make up the assembly team and a key part of this role is the allocation and coordination of tasks each day to ensure our assembly team meet the production requirements of each shift.
Select or modify components according to customer order specifications
Maintain equipment and production area
Keep records of production quantities and time
Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
Generate daily tasks lists from WMS
Proven experience as assembler / production worker
Ability in using tools and machines
Good understanding of quality control principles
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciated
