Manufacturing Engineer

This position will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, including the following responsibilities:

• CAD design of tooling and work holding for CNC machining and other operations.
• CAM programming of CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Development of complete machining and assembly production processes supporting new products and prototypes.
• Create and update product routings, bills-of-material, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve process quality and performance problems.
• Participate in process improvement, future state planning, capacity planning, and cost reduction efforts.
• Plant layout drawing, flow analyses, time study, and other industrial engineering tasks may be required.
• Support of tube bending/fabricating and warehousing/distribution may be required.

Education and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technology degrees are preferred. An equivalent combination of 2-year degree and work experience will also be considered.
• 2 years’ experience with programming CNC milling machines and/or lathes is required.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, are a must.
• CAD experience (Creo or Solidworks) is preferred.
• CAM experience is a preferred.
• Experience with tube bending and fabrication is a plus.
• Equally comfortable with both CAM/CNC/computer-related tasks and hands-on activities for manufacturing support.
