Holley, a leader in automotive aftermarket products, has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer.
Holley Performance Products seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time role within an aftermarket automotive organization in Bowling Green, KY. This role works collaboratively with the manufacturing and industrial engineering team, supporting multiple facilities in Bowling Green.
This position will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, including the following responsibilities:
CAD design of tooling and work holding for CNC machining and other operations.
CAM programming of CNC milling machines and lathes.
Development of complete machining and assembly production processes supporting new products and prototypes.
Create and update product routings, bills-of-material, and work instructions.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve process quality and performance problems.
Participate in process improvement, future state planning, capacity planning, and cost reduction efforts.
Plant layout drawing, flow analyses, time study, and other industrial engineering tasks may be required.
Support of tube bending/fabricating and warehousing/distribution may be required.
Education and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technology degrees are preferred. An equivalent combination of 2-year degree and work experience will also be considered.
2 years’ experience with programming CNC milling machines and/or lathes is required.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, are a must.
CAD experience (Creo or Solidworks) is preferred.
CAM experience is a preferred.
Experience with tube bending and fabrication is a plus.
Equally comfortable with both CAM/CNC/computer-related tasks and hands-on activities for manufacturing support.
