National Speed is looking for a well rounded Product Manager (Domestic) who specializes in Ford, GM and MOPAR vehicle platforms. As a Product Manager on the National Speed team you will play a key factor in orchestrating the fabrication of our state of the art automotive packages, which is a crucial component in the company's overall success. What You'll Do
Product Specialists are the R&D resource of National Speed, using strong technical knowledge and research skills to proactively develop performance packages for our target vehicles, along with supporting material needed to help sales and shop operations succeed. Key activities and responsibilities include:
Conduct research to develop performance packages for your assigned vehicles, logically configuring each to provide the customer with the best results for their money.
Using our proprietary software (SpeedPoint), develop Recommendations (think of these as pre-made quotes) for each package. These Recommendations allow the sales team to quickly create highly accurate quotes, in addition to providing them with all the information needed to educate our customers and properly set expectation on results.
Hold training sessions with sales team and sales engineers to educate them on new packages.
When quotes created from Recommendations move forward as new shop projects, actively communicate with shop operations teams and installing technicians to seek feedback for any enhancement opportunities.
Continuously update Recommendations as our understanding of best practices evolve, notifying the team with published updates.
Actively participate in relevant segments of the performance community to stay on the leading edge of market developments, new products, and best practices.

What You’ll Need
Our ideal candidate for this role is heavily involved in the high-performance automotive community, has a strong grasp of the mechanical & electrical principles related to performance systems, and while not required, ideally has a background in mechanical engineering.
Deep technical knowledge of modified high-performance vehicles with specialized expertise in at least one vehicle (e.g., Ford Mustang, Dodge Charger & Challenger, Chevrolet Camaro & Corvette, Cadillac CTS-V, etc.), with a proven ability to quickly learn and adopt new vehicles, niche brands, and modifications.
Highly evident passion for modified high-performance vehicles – you should be able to quickly describe the cars you own/have owned, the modifications performed in detail (whether by you, or someone else), events you participate in (late-night trips to Mexico included), etc.
