A Director of Sales’ responsibility at HP Tuners is to create and manage a detailed sales plan, and lead a team of sales managers and account reps. The Director of Sales develops the overall metrics and leading indicators to track and communicate progress to the executive team.
To be successful, you must have at least 8 years experience, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or similar), strong leadership, time management, computer skills and excellent attention to detail. You need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, a strong work ethic and a passion for success. You should also be detail oriented, precise in your work and be able to work autonomously.
Lastly, you must have a very strong understanding of the automotive aftermarket, and the information technology industry an advantage. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Forecasting and Sales Planning, including a yearly sales plan, revenue breakdown, and channel strategy.
Monthly and Quarterly Forecasting, and creating a detailed sales plan for the coming quarter.
Lead Weekly Sales Meetings.
Developing Compensation and Commission Strategy.
Hiring and Staffing Strategy.
CRM Deployment, Management and Reporting.
Coordinate with Marketing and Support on Strategies and Tactics.
Attend High Value Reseller, Customer and Event Meetings.

Strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio) skills.
Thorough understanding (preferably interest) of emerging automotive and technologies industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar is required.
