About the Job & Our Publications This position will be responsible for executing the day-to-day accounting operations for a fun and faced paced workplace. This will mean wearing multiple hats at times in order to get the job done. We also have a blast, love our jobs, and like to work hard (and play as well). You should too. Responsibilities. - Oversight of the general daily accounting functions.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports including sales analysis, and business unit performance reporting.
- Work with an outside controller to close accounting periods.
- Assist with the budget and forecasting process as needed.
- Accounts Payable
- Enter and process incoming bills & credit card expenses
- Process check runs and bill payments
- Process and approve expense reports and employee reimbursements
- Point of contact for all vendors and freelancers regarding payment
- Accounts Receivable
- Review daily bank deposits
- Oversee monthly invoicing with our AR Coordinator.
- Follow the weekly AR and Collections updates from the AR Coordinator, providing recommendations for how to proceed as needed.
- Sales Operations Support
- Compile Monthly Performance Report
- Process sales contracts
- Update SalesForce as needed
- Produce and manage monthly advertising billing review
- Process monthly advertising statistic reports
- Track and process monthly sales budgets and commissions
- Project digital advertising impressions
Skills & Experience. - Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in accounting services
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices.
- You must have a High School Diploma; a college degree or relevant college coursework is preferred.
- You are digitally savvy. You’re comfortable and knowledgeable on computers with hands on experience with spreadsheets and Quickbooks Online.
- We are looking for someone reliable & organized. Excellent with paperwork and administrative tasks. Experience with a digital task management system is a plus.
- You must carry yourself with high levels of integrity, intelligence, and maturity.
