Job Title: Account Manager, Amazon Reports to: National Sales Manager Classification: Full Time Estimated Start Date: ASAP Job Location: Seattle, WA Travel Frequency: 10% We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to grow our consumer sales and enhance our product portfolio at Amazon, North America. This position reports to the National Sales Manager and is highly visible within the company. The ideal candidate has relevant experience with Amazon account management, automotive accessories, strategic account planning, relationship building, contract negotiations, order and promotion management, product search placement & enhancements, and sales analytics. The ideal candidate is also expected to be effective in communicating with senior leadership on account health, strategy, and promotional planning. Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to: - Grow partnership with Amazon to drive sales strategies that align with company growth targets, with ownership of overall account sales and accountability to account P/L
- Serve as the main POC and build strong partnerships with the vendor manager
- Drive annual AVS contract negotiations to create win-win scenarios
- Negotiate and secure Amazon strategic resources to drive product placement, increase sales and promote brand visibility
- Responsible for new product presentations & placement
- Monitor and analyze POS on a weekly basis, and partner with marketing on promotional and advertising activities to drive value to the consumer and deliver on growth targets
- Partner with marketing to implement monthly, quarterly, annual promotional planning, as well as adherence to MAP.
- Monitor account ordering, invoice pricing, and inventory management, while working interdepartmentally with Operations & Finance
- Track and analyze sales data on a weekly and monthly basis, and communicate on sales trends, opportunities, and actions
- Drive annual account planning, including forecast and demand planning, to align with overall company objectives
