| VeriFacts Automotive is looking for Collision Repair Technicians with experience with auto body shops and collision centers, accompanied with mentoring of any form. If you have long term experience in the collision repair industry and are looking to pass on your knowledge, look no further! You will interact with various technicians and staff of collision centers and body shops that we provide our services to. You will coach them into following the proper repair procedures, the OEM way. Most positions are PART TIME unless otherwise stated, all Part Time positions have the capability of growing into Full Time as VeriFacts continues to grow, and with your effort you can also grow your market area! We are currently looking for experienced collision repair techs to coach shops and conduct audits for various OEM certifications. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of hands-on experience with collision repair along with I-CAR or ASE certifications. This is a REMOTE position where you can set your own hours so long as the work requirements are being met, as you will be a 1099 CONTRACTOR. We are an independent third-party Quality Verification company based in Santa Ana, CA and work with collision repair shops across the United States and Canada. Role Purpose: VeriFacts coaches provide assistance to the shops (Centers of Excellence) in understanding, following, and establishing proper repair processes and procedures. VeriFacts Centers of Excellence are committed to providing quality repairs that meet superior standards in the automotive industry. The Technical Coach establishes and maintains relationships with shops in the assigned region and is responsible for working with collision repair facilities and their repair technicians to ensure these standards are being met.
Technical Coach Responsibilities:
• Training and mentoring auto body technicians via in-shop demonstrations (teaching clinics and one on one training).
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key shop personnel.
• Identifying gaps in shop procedures and making recommendations to improve overall shop performance.
• Maintaining a minimum standard of continuing education annually to stay abreast of industry and coaching best practices.
Qualification Requirements:
•Must be organized, a self-starter, and exhibit VeriFacts values such as integrity, being coachable and honest with others.
• ASE, I-Car and/or other industry certifications preferred - 10 years of experience (ideally)
- Must enjoy traveling (within your set area, long distances may be required as well)
- Should have the capability of mentoring/teaching others with friendliness and patience, thus formal or informal teaching experience is needed.
- Comfortable using tablet technology, excel sheets, invoices, emails, and more.
- Able to do public speaking when needed.
- Bi-lingual (ideally)
