The quality and manufacturing engineering manager is responsible for supervising staff, organizing and monitoring work flow. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees. Initiates, coordinates and enforces systems, policies and procedures. Provides the expertise in modern engineering systems, machine design techniques, tooling in a manufacturing environment. Must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop modern innovative manufacturing techniques and equipment necessary to facilitate volume products of a variety of product
Work with other departments concerning existing manufacturing capabilities and evaluate and improve processes.
Plan and implement manufacturing processes including as required, design or specification of tooling or equipment, installation, safety, training and appropriate documentation for manufacturing.
Develops strategies and programs that improve the productivity and efficiency of the various work processes of the company.
Applies expertise in engineering problem solving and productivity techniques to evaluate the improvement of recommended strategies.
Responsible for OEM design, quoting, etc.
Instructs others in continuous processes, including the use of lean techniques, 5’s and OEE.
Participates in management plant employee and safety meetings.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws.
Coordinates and conducts employee training and monitors work performance.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Provides supervision of assigned employees in scheduling and daily activities.
Ensures effective selection, retention, feedback, disciplinary action and performance management.
Supports employee progressive disciplinary action activities in partnership with Human Resources.
Engages in responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and delegating.

Supervise tech service, QC and tooling department.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience of product knowledge or ability to learn including the knowledge of vehicle suspension.
Ability to resolve installation, application or any related product issue.
Ability to maintain an outstanding attitude towards customers or internally.
Ability to read, write and interpret documents.
Ability to use basic to complex Math.
Ability to use common sense in understanding tasks and resolving issues.
Competent with basic hand tools used for product installation.
Understands automation design, implementation and troubleshooting ability, including team building and project planning skills are required.
Knowledge of intermediate excel, word, outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn company’s ERP program.
Excellent communications skills.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
