Private automotive aftermarket parts company seeking an automotive Service Advisor who is customer service oriented, while acting as a liaison in all facets of automotive aftermarket, fixed operations parts services and inside sales. The Customer Service Advisor would be able to resolve any emerging day to day issues in an efficient professional manner and provide tactical solutions to problems that require additional service needs and update staff accordingly. This employee will ensure to provide superior customer service etiquette and maintain high level of professionalism with a sales mindset to grow the client relationships.
Capable in fielding large volume inbound calls and demonstrating excellent customer service.
Able to identify customer needs, collect technical information, and resolve customer inquiries.
Able to provide general automotive overview response, and also learn and follow templates.
Able to interact closely with C Level staff and department heads in day to day operations.
Able to handle customer complaints, technical parts inquiries, follow through on customer requests and follow-up accordingly.
Prepared to provide options upon request without losing a sales opportunity.
Strong customer communication skills
Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, whether in person or by phone to ensure customer does not get mishandled.
Able to speak confidentially and generally about automotive parts, services, and shock absorbers.
General Admin, data entry, quote creation, and capability in taking new orders.
Position can scale to assist in sales operations and client account management.
Prior experience working with inbound sales, customer service, and in the automotive and/or automotive aftermarket field a plus
Former technician and shock absorber parts experience is preferred.
Inbound sales and customer service support or retail sales experiences a plus
Previous automotive experience as service writer, customer service, or sales business development experience a plus
Outgoing personality with experience in developing relationships via phone and email, nurturing leads.
Knowledge of administrative procedures and interpersonal skills
Quick learner can work fast paced and logically
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, general computer software, and Adobe applications, internet, and telecommunications.
Valid US drivers license
High school diploma plus a minimum of 4+years of experience
Undergraduate degree a preferred
Must be able to pass pre employment testing including background checks, drug screen, reference check etc.
