The Parts Catalog Specialist-ACES/PIES with automotive aftermarket experience will work with our Sales and New Product development departments to ensure that interchanges, mapping to ACES/PIES standards, and all associated product information is accurate and complete within the electronic catalog. They will provide leadership and management of company and vendor supplied data that interfaces with our internal systems, cataloging, eCommerce, and Customer Service. They will function as a liaison between the IT/internal customers and vendor collaborates and will participate in developing and leading new company initiatives and processes.
ACES and PIES are an industry standard way of matching vehicles with the products that are designed for them.
The Parts Catalog Specialist-ACES/PIES with automotive aftermarket will have content expertise in the following areas and will be responsible for the following reporting and communication requirements as deemed appropriate:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall coordination, implementation and execution of category electronic data requirement
Perform part classification (branding, duplicates, release, supersession’s/discon, status/use flags)
Monitor and process part additions/changes
Audit part classification data
Create & distribute electronic files for CG Motorsports/ANZO USA (ACES & PIES). Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES) and Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standard (ACES). Troubleshoot part classification issues and contribute to improvements
Track and report on part classification progress
Maintain current parts catalogs for any incomplete data or opportunities. Research missing material, whether that is part numbers, pictures, kits, etc.
Audit to ensure part numbers in the catalog match the part number in the parts ordering system software
Responsible for data administration and consolidation utilized in our systems.
Regular interface with category product teams to ensure that catalog/data work meets customer requirements.
Responsible for accurate ACES & PIES data for all automotive product categories.
Monitor to ensure that all part descriptions line up with part pictures.
Maintain accurate part information compliant with industry standards (PIES).
Responsible for overall coordination, implementation, and execution of category electronic data requirements.
Provides recommendations to enhance simplify and correct internal data and streamline processes.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness per company standards.
Establish & maintain cross references/interchanges for product.
Responsible for scheduled data updates to SDC, DCI, customers, etc.
Troubleshoot catalog/data issues, documenting, and communicating to appropriate parties.
Coordinate creation of any new part numbers with proper description, reporting codes and relevant cross references into enterprise system.
Research any incoming application issues from the field and bring to resolution.
Support specific projects as assigned by Manager.
Approximately 10% for seminars and annual SEMA trade show
Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Experience developing data on parts/vehicles to the Auto Care Association PIES and ACES standards required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Experience creating and manipulating data within Microsoft Excel or equivalent tools
5 years in a role of Automotive aftermarket classification required.
Strong background in vehicle parts knowledge, automotive part fitment, OEM and competitive part evaluation
Proficient with ACES/PIES standards required
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to extract and analyze information from our current operations systems and present in Excel/PowerPoint format.
Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
Knowledge of automotive electronic catalog resources.
The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast- paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently to meet objectives.
Effectively adapt to changing business direction and company strategies.
