The Technical Support Member is responsible for managing all aspects of technical customer support. This includes keeping up to date with OEM and industry standards for collision repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Technical Support position is to provide guidance as needed to VeriFacts shops and insurance carriers in relation to technical knowledge of collision repair.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Answer technical questions (both internal and external)
Respond to all requests within a 48 hour window
Correspond with OEMs on proper repair techniques and procedures
Research technical information on current vehicle repairs, procedures, and equipment
Manage and review call logs
Attend meetings as scheduled
Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
One (1) year required or Three (3) years' experience preferred in the collision repair industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel)
Organized and self-motivated
Ability to communicate well
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Availability for limited travel as required
Estimating and auto insurance background preferred
Friendly, able to answer customer support calls
Ability to use the internet and knowledge of internet navigation
Wroking Conditions and Physical Requirements:
This is a remote role. The Technical Support member will notify the team of hours of availability and any extended absence during the work week. The contractor must have access to the internet and be able to coordinate with other team members across the country in different time zones.
The role may require standing for extended periods of time, lifting heavy objects greater than 40 lbs., and driving on a regular basis.
