Our client, a large powersports dealer group on the Gulf Coast, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead one of its booming operations. Candidates with strong General Sales Manager experience are welcome to apply. On the water, this is an attractive opportunity in a warm, 12-month riding season market. The dealer carries all 4 Japanese motorcycle lines, UTVs, ATVs, plus. Must have powersports/motorcycle industry experience.
Key Result Areas:
Hire, train, inspire, and lead dealership big team
Establish departmental goals and drive departmental performance and growth
Maintain strong CSI and employee satisfaction
Manage New and Used Inventory, OEM programs, incentives and relationships
Qualifications and Requirements:
Demonstrated success in GM or GSM role
Experience and strong understanding of manufacturers’ policies
Must be a self-motivated and demonstrate great people skills. Strong leadership skills required
Experience buying and selling used units
Ability to step in and manage areas of responsibility with little supervision
