Fast growing Asheville-based company is seeking a driven and motivated leader to oversee the operations of the company. The company's Finance Manager, Order Processing Manager, Warehouse Manager, and QC Manager will report to the Director of Operations. This position will also integrate Sales & Marketing activity with the other departments. The Director of Operations will report directly to the company's CEO/Owner.
Rightline Gear produces products for the Automotive Aftermarket and the Sporting Goods/Outdoors Industry. The company's customers include national retailers such as Academy Sports and Outdoors, AutoZone, Amazon, Cabela’s, and Walmart, plus automotive aftermarket distributors. Rightline Gear’s sells products in US and international markets.
The company's entrepreneurial environment produces plenty of opportunities for the right candidate to grow and succeed. The Director of Operations should focus on all metrics under their control to improve the company's profitability. A warehouse addition, bringing grounds maintenance in house, and a continued growth in company products and related sales are all expected for 2019.
Set operational strategies to manage the company's high growth rate
Coach the further development of the departmental managers
Manage SOPs to ensure the efficient integration of company departments
Lead the hiring of new employees
Manage the logistics of incoming containers
Chair the on-boarding of new customers
Ensure accurate order processing and invoicing with on time fulfillment
Encourage helpful and respectful customer service
(5) years management experience
Ability to understand accounting concepts, P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.
Excellent math, writing, organizational, and time management skills
Proven ability to work in a performance based environment
The humbleness to be transparent in areas where personal growth is necessary
