DEMCO Manufacturing is seeking a motivated, experienced sales professional to work with dealers and existing customers in the eastern geographic region of the United States. This position will take over an established territory with an existing dealer network and customer base. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for prospecting new business and current business development efforts. The assigned territory includes the states of: South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
Candidates must be adept at developing relationships with new as well as existing customers. The right candidate will increase sales within the assigned territory for all of DEMCO’s RV and trailer component product lines which includes: RV towing products, supplemental brake systems, and trailer components including couplers, tongues, brake lines, and related accessories . Prior sales experience within the RV or trailer components industry is preferred.
This position is home-based with up to 75% travel throughout the region. The ideal candidate must live within the assigned territory. A flexible work schedule is required for this position.
The ideal candidate must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The right candidate will be self-motivated and able to work successfully with a large degree of independence. Prior experience with sales or dealer network development is preferred.
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation package consists of a base salary + commission incentive.
