Solid sales growth in the US market has created the need for LIQUI MOLY to expand our sales team to keep pace with the growing demands of our brand. A field position is now open in the San Francisco Bay/Oakland metro area.
Our team members need to be positive thinkers and upbeat about life. We are looking for a proactive and energetic attitude that will grow sales, manage customer demands and aggressively sell new business. Strong selling and teaching skills are required to train distributors and service installers how to sell LIQUI MOLY motor oils and additives. Prior lubricant/additive selling experience is desired.
A qualified professional will be able to think on his/her feet and possess the ability to service all accounts at multiple distribution levels. Relationship building and sales follow up are key “must have” skills to succeed in this position. Marketing and promotions experience are highly desired.
**Bi-lingual is a plus.
As a LIQUI MOLY salesperson you will represent our company in the San Francisco Bay Area and be responsible for the following tasks:
Interact professionally at all levels of the customer distribution chain.
Build relationships with new customers and manage existing customers in the territory.
Make daily service shop calls on service managers and service techs educating them on LIQUI MOLY products and how to sell them in their business.
Develop sales/marketing strategies that increase overall sales of LIQUI MOLY products
This position is a home office based assignment requiring a solid daily work discipline.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in field sales management (preferably in lubricant products and/or automotive aftermarket)
Use excellent verbal and written communication skills
Candidates must be self-sufficient and self-motivated to sell all market channels LIQUI MOLY serves.
Have the ability to influence and negotiate with customers effectively to benefit all.
Scheduling flexibility needed to occasionally work on weekends. Overnight trips are possible.
Possess efficient time management, solid organizational skills and operate with punctuality.
Must have strong presentation and speaking abilities to engage customers and group audiences
Perform with professional and personal integrity inspiring trust with customers and fellow employees
Be responsible to work with a CRM system to submit weekly written reports.
Have proficient ability to use MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point)
Need to live in the greater San Francisco Bay/Metro area.
MUST HAVE - Valid and clean driver license record
2 openings. Telecommuting is allowed.
