FOX Factory, Inc., a fast-growing and dynamic company in Braselton, GA (30517) has an exciting opportunity for a Power Vehicle Division Controller.
Reporting directly to the Corporate Vice President of Finance and Accounting, the position of Division Controller has a dotted line reporting role to the Division President and is responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance related activity, maintaining fiscal responsibility and ensuring the establishment and administration of adequate internal controls within the Division /business unit.
Function as primary financial business partner to the Division President. Identify, track and analytically review Divisional KPIs and other performance benchmarks; analyze customer profitability; and support strategic planning efforts and initiatives.
Prepare, analytically review and present Divisional operating and financial data - including monthly Operating Budgets and Forecasts; Product Line Gross Profit; and Balance Sheet and Operating Statement reporting with the objective of identifying opportunities to add value, grow sales, improve profitability and enhance internal controls.
Manage and assess performance of direct reports against established benchmarks, and provide feedback. Mentor, coach, develop and hold accountable Finance and Accounting staff for their contributions, performance and achievements.
Oversee, and in some cases directly manage, Divisional accounting functions including General ledger, Accounts Receivable; Accounts Payable; Payroll; Cash Application; cost accounting and Financial Planning teams.
Manage the preparation and analysis of long range plans, budgets, and forecasts
Ensure that all processes, procedures and policies are correctly communicated and followed, with emphasis on improvement of efficiencies and ensuring internal controls are effective and practiced by all departments.
Consistently demonstrate and model good management and self-management practices in support of company culture.
Establish an on-going focus to identify, develop and retain highly qualified talent.
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial systems (preferably Oracle ERP) and software, and public company internal accounting controls
Thorough knowledge of profit management and cost accounting principles and practices required, with demonstrated track record of applying that knowledge to add value in a manufacturing or equivalent environment
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze and interpret data and communicate findings
Demonstrated ability to develop and lead highly functioning teams that work well together and add value to the business by driving profitable growth
Demonstrated managerial skill set including interpersonal skills, leadership ability, conflict resolution and team building
Able to see the ‘big picture’. Capacity and willingness to promote and advocate for positive change
Detail oriented; able to multi-task; and highly organized. History of consistently meeting deadlines.
Self-Directed/ Self Motivated and results oriented
Ability to travel frequently within the US and occasionally overseas
Educational and Experience Requirements:
10+ years of professional experience in public company Finance and Accounting roles; 3+ years in role equivalent to this position
Prior SEC reporting is desired as is Business Development/M&A experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a strong plus
