Summary: Group-A Engineering is currently seeking a skilled High-Performance Dyno Operator with a minimum of 4 years hands on professional experience to join our team. Candidate must be experienced and versatile – able to switch from project to project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Installation and removal of engines in test cells
Set up and operation of Engine Dynamometer
Instrumentation of specific test equipment for evaluation purposes and data acquisition
Communication with Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors
Verifying specifications, measuring components, check / confirm and document clearances and related measures
Prepare Dynamometer machine for the following procedures: tuning, power ratings, endurance tests, and testing of different part combinations
Document Engine build specifications
Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Review automatic transmission testing data - and confirm pass or fail status based on documented tolerances.
Operate proprietary testing equipment.
Install all components used during testing.
Enter data clearly and accurately at a dedicated computer workstation.
Document and complete all post-test paperwork.
Work cross-functionally with other departments.
Use hand tools.
