This position is responsible for selling The Fuelbox products and services and assisting customers with their product needs. The sales representative provide an exemplary customer experience by asking the customer questions to determine their needs and engaging the customer with their product knowledge, suggestive selling items for the customer’s immediate needs and recommending additional items and/or services. They will be the first point of contact for the company and will provide administrative support across the organization. They will ensure that all sales responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. This position reports to the Sales/Marketing manager.
Role and Responsibilities
Acknowledge and greet customers that are within a close (ten-foot) radius or ten seconds of arriving where the associate is working
Engage the customer through conversation, Determine the customer’s needs
Answer phone and email inquires, provide product knowledge to customers through the features, values, and benefits of each product in a timely manner
Arrange appointments, take and relay messages, Answer the telephone within three rings
Suggestively sell additional items and services that the customer may not have anticipated they will need
Assist in resolving customer concerns on warranty claims or product issues in a professional manner
Correctly handle all register transactions, handle returns/complaints graciously and effectively
Support sales policies and procedures to provide fair and effective interactions with all customers
Follow-up with customers post-sale to verify satisfaction with products purchased and garner customer feedback
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Prior sales experience helpful. Excellent communication skills, Microsoft Office skills. High School diploma or GED required. A driver’s license and a good driving record is a plus.
Teamwork - ability to work in a team environment, but also a self-motivator to be independent and complete jobs and tasks at hand.
Writing- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Speaking- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Active Listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Problem Sensitivity- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
The Fuelbox provides the auxiliary fuel tank market with many options of fuel tank toolbox combos and the Auto Fuel Controller system. The Fuelbox offers high quality aluminum products including toolbox fuel tank combos, in-bed fuel tanks, tool boxes, dog boxes and other truck accessories.
