We are currently seeking top candidates to join our Sales organization in our Automotive/ Commercial/Industrial Aftermarket Division as an Inside / Outside Sales Rep. You will focus on identifying and developing new business within Industrial OEM, Commercial Fleet, and Off-Road jobber type of accounts.
This position is accountable for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. Develops and implements agreed upon Operating Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer sales in the assigned territory.
Know your performance metrics. Know current performance vs. expectations.
Net sales, Net margin, outbound calling & general phone statistics, periodic promotional goals, etc.
Growth of existing accounts within territory. Implement new programs and analyze new opportunities within existing customers. (New lines, new categories, re-merchandising of store etc…)
Manage pricing /discounts to grow customers profitably
Acquire New Accounts
Outbound Calls and Action Plan
Identify growth areas, categories, cultivate or create new sales opportunities
Ability to travel up to 50% of time
Cultivate new leads from various sources. Maintain an ongoing prospect database managing and reviewing lead opportunites from start to sign up of new accounts.
Held responsible and expected to add minimum of a certain amount of new dealers per month.
Expect heavy phone prospecting for initiating new business contacts/opportunities/appointments.
High School diploma plus 5 years sales experience minimum.
Must be familiar with the company's products and procedures. Must be able to work in cooperation with others. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments. Must be able to communicate effectively with others and be a team-player. Must be organized, motivated, and a self-starter. Strong Sales Professional with a proven track record of telephone and face to face selling.
