BASIC FUNCTION:To support sales goals through effective sales techniques and quality customer service.Responsible for delivering outstanding customer service experience to our clients by responding to all inquiries and serving as support to team members in order to increase sales activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Promote and sell AFCO Performance Group (APG) branded products via phone, e-mail, and in-person interactions.Limited travel may be required.
·Develop and maintain a prospective customer pipeline.
·Assist our team with the development of solutions to improve workflow and communication.
·Relay new product ideas to the design team for evaluation.
·Respond to billing, technical, shipping and all other customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
·Enter customer orders for all APG brands.
·Learn our business, products, processes and customers.Update skills and job knowledge on an on-going basis by reading, attending professional functions and learning from others.
·Must follow established APG and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
·Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
·Willing to travel for trade shows, customer visits, races and other events periodically.
·Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment.
PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
·Experience in the motorsports/automotive markets.
·A high degree of professionalism, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate thoughtful decision making, possess a high attention to detail, and will have the ability to work successfully with little supervision.
·A thorough knowledge of common office software programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn new applications to service our clients.
·A high school diploma or a GED; college degree preferred.
·Teamwork mentality and cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors.
