What you’ll do: Essential Job Duties:
Develop and implement a social media marketing plan covering the following:
Identify audience and target customers
Align brand and content strategy, including
Set clear objectives, measure & analyze to establish ROI
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to stay aligned with the demands of the customers and company’s goals
Day-to-day social media marketing campaigns responsibilities:
Develop relevant content to reach the company’s target customers
Design, create and manage promotions and ad campaigns
Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written)
Monitor, listen and respond to users, followers, fans to connect them with the company, with the ultimate goal of turning them into customers
Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed, and compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy to recommend best practices
Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns
What you’ll need:
Basic Qualifications: Education & Experience:
BS in Marketing/Business and 3+ years experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
Effective presentation skills using knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
Accurate data analysis and reporting skills
Experience and knowledge of the industry, traditional marketing, social media and/or content development
Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience
Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
Proficient in content marketing and publishing.
Exhibits the ability to balance the creative side of marketing with the analytical side
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of blogging social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
