The qualified Machinist/ CNC Operator will set up, program and operate a variety of new and modern DMG MORI, CNC lathes, vertical, horizontal and 5-axis mills. This is a 2nd shift position with a competitive wage and a shift differential. 2nd shift hours are (4)10 hr evenings M-Thur evenings.
High school or GED required. Precision tooling degree preferred or one year of related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience. Must be able to occasionally lift and carry <50 lbs. and rarely push/pull up to 100 lbs. Must have the ability to apply commonsense understanding, follow safety procedures and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must be able to read blueprints and familiar with machine shop equipment.
