Major aftermarket wheel distributor is seeking an experienced export sales manager. Responsible for the development and performance of all export sales activities in California office. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the export customer base in the Latin America Countries and contributes to the development of training for sales team.
Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the export market especially in Latin America market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team.
Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Recruits, tests, and hires sales members based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Prior export sales experience in aftermarket automotive wheel industry
Proven technical selling skills and product knowledge
Strong ability to generate new customers and close sales
Ability to accurately forecast sales trends
Bilingual in Spanish & English
Solid computer, communication, and time management skills
