Develops Collision Labor time allowances. Edits, rewrites and authenticates information found in OEM technical user manuals, data sheets and specification books. Evaluates OEM information and performs field labor time studies to generate information used as a basis for labor allowances developed using the Mitchell P-page logic format.
Ensures data normalization. Performs support tasks in the planning, layout and preparation of artwork for inclusion in technical estimating products.
Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or email. Resolves customer concerns raised regarding Collision Database issues. Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily customer-centric activities.
Minimum of 10-15 years in the collision repair industry, shop or insurance carrier
I-Car Platinum individual preferred
Demonstrated strength in vehicle damage appraisal and/or estimating
Extensive understanding of collision repair techniques
Ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience
Proficient computer skills is a must
