This position is responsible for the sale of the organization's products in a specified territory or major geographical area. This position requires the employee to be a seasoned automotive equipment sales rep and to have to have a laptop and wireless printer for demonstrations.

Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
Conducts onsite meetings as necessary.
Prospecting potential customers and distributors.
Cold Calling on all prospective customers.

Demonstrate handheld product to all prospective customers, and use video and ships that have TPI drive-over product to support TredSpec sales
Work with all Distributor sales individuals.
Review existing territory customer base for add on and new business.
Assists with contract negotiations within company guidelines, closing the sale and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
Assists with the planning of sales exhibits as needed.
Attends local trade shows as needed to assist distributors in selling TPI products.
Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.
Submit sales documents accurately and in a timely manner.
Troubleshoots problems regarding products as needed.
Answers questions from clients and redirect or handle complaints as needed.
Manage complex sales.
Meeting attendance and participation in sale meetings and training sessions.
Provide management and corporate with accurate reports and contracts on a daily/ monthly/ weekly basis.
Partner with call center to close leads.
Follow up with customers to establish their satisfaction with product(s).
Use only TPI approved lease company unless customer has their own.
Follow up and respond to internal and external communication within a timely manner.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Tire Profiles was formed in 2008 as an offshoot of a railway diagnostics company called ImageMap. From the early 1990?s, Roger Tracy and his team of engineers at ImageMap developed diagnostic measurement systems for railway infrastructure and rolling stock. Complementary systems were also developed to measure different properties of the rail car wheels themselves. These systems became widely used throughout the world for measuring rail track conformity on North America’s heavy haul railroads, in China’s vast railway infrastructure system and on the high speed railways of Europe. ImageMap rail equipment is used today to measure track at up to 200 mph (320km/h).
At the same time, ImageMap was also developing systems for use in the tire engineering labs of major tire manufacturers to measure tread depth and sidewall deflection of tires under load. The cutting edge technology of these “TireMap” systems formed the seed of what would eventually become Tire Profiles. An early version was engineered for the Formula 1 racing circuit to measure the wear patterns of their grooved tires. This development was what gave birth to the tire replace...ment industry products Tire Profiles sells today.
In 2013 Roger Tracy team up with auto industry veteran David Boyle to help develop these products for the automotive industry. As Tire Profiles first President David Boyle’s experience in building and running large technology based companies with products designed specifically for the automotive repair market has been instrumental in shaping Tire Profiles to what it is today. In January 2014 Tire Profiles officially launched the TreadSpec brand of products to meet the needs to the automotive, new car and aftermarket segments. Later that year a prototype of what would become the Groove Glove won the best new technology product award as SEMA.
