Rolling Big Power is currently seeking an aggressive, extremely driven Product Manager to join a large SoCal automotive aftermarket parts manufacturer and supplier. Our client will be looking for candidates that have relevant product development experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. This is will be a full-time role with base plus bonus and full benefits. You’ll combine your passion for the industry, your extreme drive to exceed at everything you do, technical/product knowledge and analytics skills to drive meaningful growth in our truck accessory brand. You must be an enthusiast. You live and breathe the truck market – and the thought of actually putting your mark on the products being made into the market excites you like nothing else.
Designing innovative, exciting products for the truck aftermarket – from new product launch to end of life
Identifying, defining, designing, developing and measuring new products and accompanying sales materials to support the global sales team.
Analyzing current industry trends and implementing room for growth in your current product line
Working collaboratively with the marketing and social media teams to deliver flawless marketing campaigns for your products
Work alongside the customer service team to deliver flawless customer satisfaction at every step of customer touch points
Collaborate with the other cross functional teams to deliver on your products - Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Design.
Research and analyze the key performance indicators across existing products with the goal of maximizing revenue opportunity, scale and performance.
Monitor the global marketplace for opportunities to influence product roadmap, including but not limited to new marketplace technologies.
Attend truck and car shows periodically – you’re an enthusiast, so this is the fun part!
Present products to the sales organization ensuring they are equipped to bring our offerings to market.
Meet regularly with management team to understand their business needs and provide direct feedback on product initiatives.
Provide ongoing sales support on products including, best practices, pricing, performance, optimizations, etc.
MUST be a truck/jeep/off road enthusiast
Relevant experience – you must have automotive aftermarket experience
Strong problem solving, analytic, and decision-making skills – you can think on your feet. You love data and love looking at the facts in order to better equip you to make your plan of action and solve issues
Extremely high attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple projects at a time. Successfully able to meet deadlines.
Extensive knowledge of online media, marketing and advertising trends required – within the automotive aftermarket industry
Self-motivated worker with entrepreneurial passion.
Must possess strong leadership and teamwork skills but be able to work independently.
Understand that in a proactive environment, not all projects will come to fruition; utilize these lessons for future projects.
