The Director of Sales position is newly created to harness the rapid growth the Company is experiencing. This position will join the VP-Sales and Marketing and President in leveraging the Company’s premium brand market positioning and reputation to expand into new performance niches/markets. The Director of Sales will be an integral member of the senior management team that will be responsible for leading all internal/external sales functions and driving the growth of the business.
The Sales Director is accountable for all elements of company revenue, including but not limited to meeting sales goals, managing the sales team and fostering a collaborative, fun, yet goal oriented culture based upon clear accountabilities.
The Director of Sales is based at the Company’s headquarters in the suburbs of a major Northeast city. He/she will report directly to the VP-Sales & Marketing, and will initially have 2 direct reports. Travel is estimated at ~50%.
A minimum of 5+ years managing a national sales organization. International experience a plus. Automotive aftermarket/high performance market experience preferred.
A proven track record in building and managing business development/sales teams.
