Transamerican Auto Parts is a multi-national, multi-channel distributor (retail, Wholesale, e-commerce and catalog) of aftermarket automotive parts as well as a manufacturer of several branded product lines. We are seeking a TALENTED Automotive Call Center Representative to join our team!
The Automotive Call Center Representative will work out of our call center.
This position will be located at our corporate office in Compton, California in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Answers inbound phone calls, emails, and web chats;
Performs outbound order follow up calls to vendors and customers;
Follows up on open sales orders;
Conducts research and training (company-provided) to stay current on new vehicles and products;

High School diploma or greater;
Prior experience in automotive aftermarket sales is preferred, we require familiarity with Truck or Jeep automotive aftermarket products;
Automotive experience is required;
Great customer service skills;
Must be able to work Flexible hours, we are open Monday to Friday from 5 am to 8pm and 6 am to 4 pm on the weekends. You will be required to work on one weekend day, about 50% of the year. In those instances, employee will be given an alternative day off during the weekdays;
Follow-through is a must on open orders, customer phone calls, and electronic mail;
Must have excellent computer skills, phone etiquette and problem solving skills;
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
Additional Salary Information: Hours and Pay
40 hours a week, 8 hours a day;
Salary is Minimum wage + commission;
Commission are based on calculations tied to sales and sales goals earned throughout the month;
Average sales person earns about $60K a year. Top performers can earn over $100K a year;
