Drive sales by developing new and growing existing relationships with our dealers, their sales teams, and end customers within our traditional/load support product segment to meet department sales and growth goals.
Reports to: National Sales Manager
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow sales by developing specific plans by customer.
Attend industry and customer trade shows.
Manage customer marketing opportunities.
Assist the Sales and Marketing Team to obtain the goals of market share and profitability.
Make regular dealer site visits.
Facilitate training and product demonstrations.
Present products to customers.
Identify customer requirements.
Follow-up leads and opportunities from events (shows/site visits) outbound calls facilitate outbound calls while in office. Generate call lists when lists are not provided. Assist with customer service issues as needed.
***Must live within the designated territory.
A University degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of three years of related experience in the automotive aftermarket. Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information. Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team. Experience in developing market and sales strategies. Ability to travel and excellent oral and written communication skills, plus good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites is required. A valid driver’s license is required.
