Honest Charley Speed Shop is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Performance Parts Sales and Show Representative. The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable professional with Street Rod, Hot Rod, Accessory and Racing Parts knowledge and experience. If you are familiar with products, suppliers, terminology, and have an overall passion for the industry, we want to talk to you.
The individual in this position will attend swap meets, car shows, and other industry events. The right candidate will recognize the difference between a Hot Rod, Rat Rod Collector Car, and a Muscle Car. If you are an outgoing, personable automotive enthusiast this is a great opportunity!
Summary of Responsibilities
Receive inbound sales calls and assist customers with product selection
Process orders for products received by telephone, fax, email, or in-person
Utilize computer program to track retail and show sales information
Maintain relationships with existing customers and create relationships with new customers in order to develop repeat business
Execute point of sale in the most efficient and effective way possible
Represent Honest Charley Speed Shop at various swap meets, car shows and other events, both local and national (8-10 per year)
Set up show displays
Availability to travel to shows, both locally and nationally several times per year
Ability to lift/load 35-50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds occasionally
Sales and/or Customer Service experience in the automotive industry a plus
Intermediate computer skills
Class A CDL a plus
