Responsible for coordinating and managing promotional activities and necessary staff for execution. Takes steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of the company through various goals, and objectives. Coordination and execution of shows and events.
Essential functions and primary responsibilities:
Plan marketing, branding, and event objectives.
Prepare marketing and event strategies alongside other company executives and staff.
Create summary reports of each event outlining how data gathered from current events can be used to develop successful future events.
Continuously develop and/or update a network of subcontractors and vendors that make planning each event a simple process.
Negotiate for space contracts and book event space, arrange food and beverage, order supplies, equipment and signage, and ensure appropriate décor to meet quality of brand expectations.
Coordinate appointments and scheduling of event on the calendar.
Prepare and adhere to marketing and event budgets.
Oversee creation and delivery of marketing and promotional materials.
Assist in ensuring that brand messages are consistent to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the company.
Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share.
Collaborate and assist sales and marketing team in areas of content generation and production across all media platforms.
Take calculated risks based on data-driven analytics in regards to events.
Drive and cultivate overall CRM and direct marketing with vendors and APR distributors.
Engage other organizations within the community to best position the company and its brand.
Collaborate with staff and assist to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities.
Collaborate and assist marketing team to develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader.
Organize and manage logistics for annual dealer conferences, statewide shows, meetings, and tradeshows.
Assist Marketing team with the manage sponsorships.

Physical demands and work environment:
Physical demands: Ability to lift and move at least 25 lbs., sit for long periods working on a computer, climb stairs, stand for long periods, and walk short distances.
Work Environment: Includes both an indoor office environment and a warehouse environment which may be significantly colder or warmer than a normal indoor office setting. There may be brief period of loud noise from machinery. Working outdoors occasionally in extreme conditions.
Attainment of annual goals established between supervisor and employee
Standard 40 hour work week with occasional overtime and weekend work to attend events and shows.
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field or equivalent professional experience
4+ years experience in organization, logistics and execution of shows and events
Experience with relevant software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Exact Target or Constant Contact, Survey Monkey, Eventbrite MAC Platform)
Proven track record of identifying and maximizing event opportunities
Excellent time management and communication skills
Communications experience a plus
Marketing strategy and execution experience a plus
