Hedges & Company, a digital marketing agency, is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Account Executive to lead our B2B sales and marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for identifying, developing and managing sales opportunities for the company.
The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for selling the company's broad range of digital services, which include pay-per-click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) campaign management, social media management, database development and market research services.
Using a consultative approach engage businesses to build long-lasting relationship.
Develop new business leads through research of the market using a variety of sources and methods.
Screen and qualify leads to determine the appropriate services to best meet the client’s business goals.
Make outbound sales calls to develop new business contacts.
Assist with webinars and client presentations.
Work with the in-house client account teams to create and present client proposals.
Keep client records and contacts up to date and accurate in company’s CRM program.
Identify, organized and oversee new market opportunities as the industry evolves.
Become educated and well versed in all the company’s products and services.
Obtain Google certification and attend training sessions to learn latest products and services.
Participate in industry trade shows or travel to client locations as needed.
Qualifications & Professional Skills
5+ years proven sales and account development experience.
Proven track record in B2B sales and new business development.
Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket space.
Understanding of digital marketing and popular PPC ad platforms (AdWords, Bing).
Experience with website analysis using analytics tools such as Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools, a plus.
Familiar with of email marketing, testing and measurements.
Experience working with CRM programs.
Can work independently on projects while communicating with clients, vendors and co-workers.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent written and phone skills are required.
Some travel required to trade shows and to meet clients—10% to 20%.
BS/BA degree preferred.
