We expect our next Senior Director, HR to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and SVP in aligning the organization with its cultural aspirations to more efficiently and effectively attain its strategic objectives.
The Senior Director, Human Resources (SD HR) will be responsible for achieving short- and long-term strategic and business goals reporting to the SVP with a dotted line to the CEO. This position is about fostering and growing a culture based on customer service, creativity, empowerment and accountability. He or she will direct and oversee all activities relating to organizational design, staff and resource allocation, recruitment, selection, training and development, performance management and compensation of all executive, exempt and non-exempt employees.
As a business partner to the CEO and SVP, participate in the formulation of the organization's strategic, business and financial planning. Act as advisor to the CEO and SVP.
Focus on organizational development issues including cultural alignment, performance management, talent planning and management, leadership development, and employee engagement and communications. Lead the development of programs and recruit and lead internal champions to drive change.
As a keeper of the culture, play a leading role in ensuring common values and vision as well as practices, policies and procedures.
Assess compensation programs and evolve structure to lead culture toward accountability and productivity.
Establish training programs to develop employee values and skills needed to achieve organizational strategic objectives.

Establish and implement a hiring and talent recruitment plan.
Evaluate and provide recommendations for revising/enhancing SEMA performance review process. To include manager training on how to conduct meaningful reviews.
Establish a 360 Review Program for the entire SEMA staff to participate and receive feedback.
Review and propose strategy and FY19 budget for staff development and education.
Establish an on boarding/mentoring program for new hires.
Review and provide recommendations for enhanced employee recognition program.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced business executive with a strong human resources functional background. Demonstrated knowledge and leadership of all human resources functional areas
Successful experience in influencing change in a dynamic environment.

Track record of efficient and effective management of all financial and operational aspects of human resources programs.
A bachelor's degree is required and a graduate degree is preferred.
